Red roads slow down traffic in Dubai
PlastiRoute? Spraygrip brightens up this Dubaian highway to alert drivers that it is time to slow down and increase safety on the busy road.
The bright red markings are impossible not to notice - and that is the point exactly! Their purpose is to inform and alert drivers that the speed limit is reduced from 120 to 80 km/h. By doing so, the eye-catching markings perform an important job in helping to increase traffic safety.
The application was made by TST Road &. Area Marking LLC Dubai, who used the AreaSpray™ machine to apply the traffic red PlastiRoute Sprayplast markings. This material is ideal for larger applications such as breaking zones, preferential area and bicycle lanes where it provides both slip-resistance and long durability. Therefore, heavy traffic zones like these can really benefit from the high anti-skid properties of this rough-textured marking.
With two AreaSpray machines, TST managed to cover 1500 sqm in 5 ½ hours showing the fast, efficient, and precise application that is possible with the AreaSpray machine.
